April 1^st, 2006.  No fooling!  That’s when Flye Cycles opened our doors for the first time as a brick and mortar retail establishment. 

March 1, 2008 we opened our new larger store in Sunderland Center. After only two years we had outgrown our original building. With a larger sales floor and more bike storage, we can now better serve your needs.

 

Norman Flye 3, the owner, has spent over twenty years working for other bicycle shops and out of his own basement, garage and barn.  Norm has a loyal following among local area cyclists who appreciate his attention to detail.  His family has a long history of cycling.  Photos show Flyes on bikes dating back to the early 1900’s.  It was this family that provided innumerable hours of labor to get the business up and running as well as helping out on an ongoing basis. 

 

Flye Cycles provides high quality repairs and upgrades for any make and model of bicycle.  The shop sells new bicycles from Orbea, Raleigh, Jamis, Masi, GT, KHS, Lapierre, Surly, Schwinn, Free Agent and more.  Strollers, trail-a-bikes, trailers, tricycles and tandems are in stock.  Also available is a full line of parts, accessories, sports nutrition items and clothing, featuring Giordana and Borah.  Our products are chosen for their quality and value with a focus on environmentally friendly and American made items.
